On October 22, 2007, I was working as a journalist covering the various direct actions that were under the banner of "No War, No Warming." While documenting the arrests of several activists dressed as polar bears, I was asked to move backwards. I followed the directions and was then pointed out by the commanding officer and arrested. My charge was "unlawful assembly". I fought the charges and the prosecuting attorney eventually dropped the charges (more on that later). Watch the video yourself. The proof is in the pudding.
